Todd The hunt for a pair of safety glasses that were comfortable and did not fog while using a mask started when my wife began having to wear a mask and eye protection her entire shift at work. I stumbled upon Bolle safety glasses. I know Bolle eyewear from cycling and skiing goggles and had no idea that they made safety glasses. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that while they make $100+ cycling glasses they have an entire division that makes $10-20 safety glasses.
Bolle Safety Glasses
Bolle has created a completely different website for their safety glasses as their recreational glasses. Many of their safety glasses come with an anti-fog coating. I was skeptical that the anti-fog coating would work, but it does a great job and the glasses do not fog while wearing a medical mask. Some reviews do mention that the coating can wear off over time.
On top of being functional and not fogging up, Bolle makes safety glasses that look good. Bolle makes many safety glasses that look like traditional safety glasses and one with plastic frames. The safety glasses are certified, unlike many cheap safety glasses on Amazon.
Bolle Silium 40073 Safety Glasses. These are the glasses that we ordered and they are great. They have a metal frame, anti-fog coating, and an adjustable nose piece. They are expensive for safety glasses but are worth it in my opinion.
Bolle Silium 40237 Safety Glasses. We did not test these glasses, but they have the same characteristics of the glasses that we did test. I like the look of these even better than the other ones. They are also lighter.
